SHILA is a non-profit financial organization that provides affordable, unsecured home improvement loans to Arizona homeowners-no credit score minimums and no equity required

To keep things moving quickly, please prepare and upload the following documents for your application:

Required Documents

  • Proof of income
  • Salaried: Last 2 pay stubs
  • Hourly: Last 2 months of pay stubs
  • Retired: 1 month of retirement income
    (e.g. pension, Social Security)
  • Self-Employed: 2 years of tax returns
  • Identification
  • Copy of your driver's licence (front only)
  • Utility Information
  • 12 months of energy bill useage history
  • Project Details
  • Contractor quote (if available)
  • Property & Financial
  • Copy of your mortgage statement
    (if applicable)
  • Copy of homeowner's insurance
  • A voided check for ACH payment setup

If a Co-Borrower is Required

  • Proof of income
  • Pay stubs or retirements letter
  • Copy of their driver's license
  • Front only

Important Client Note

We recommend applicants have no past-due loans in the last two years. However, if a late payment was due to specific hardship or explainable reason, SHILA will review and consider the situation on a case-by-case basis.
